Climate and Weather in the Philippines | Mavimore

In the Philippines, where tropical climate conditions are experienced, the summer season, known as tag-init or tag-araw, covering the period between March and May, is the hottest time period. There is not much rain during this period. Rains that generally start in June and continue until October also increase the risk of typhoons in the country bordering the ocean. This period, known as Tag-ulan, is the period with the most rainfall. The coldest period in the country is between November and February. The average temperature in the Philippines throughout the year is between 25 degrees and 32 degrees. These temperatures are almost the same everywhere in the country at sea level. However, temperatures in the mountains and valleys are much lower than at sea level. Additionally, typhoons can cause major disasters and even loss of life and property.
