We will spend 2 weeks on Maui Island… After flying over the ocean for half an hour, we arrive at Maui Island. If there is a place called heaven, it must be HAWAI… We go to Avis to rent a car. Ever since Road Trip, my girlfriend’s mind has been on the Mustang. But we are on an island in Hawaii. We’ll jump in with two pieces of clothing and a beach bag and wander around all day long. We say that a cute little car is enough for us and we get in our car and settle into our dreamy hotel, sorry, our house, located 5 minutes away in Mahana at Kaanapali. The magic word: “Honeymoon” There is no door it does not open, there is no place it does not take us away. The room the girl at the reception gave us must have been heaven. First of all, our room has everything that is found in a house. There is even a DVD and a washing machine. We are 5 steps away from the Pacific Ocean. Our room is at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. I say the sentence again. Our room doesn’t just overlook the Pacific Ocean. Just 5 steps away from the Pacific Ocean. We are at the bottom. And… Our room is on the ground floor, where the most beautiful rooms are located, and has a terrace that opens directly to the lawns and garden. It has two entrances. It is connected to the main building and connected to the garden. Perfect. By 18:00 in the evening, the sun is so close to us that we can see almost all colors of red, yellow and orange with its enormous round body. In front of us… It is sinking… “That’s all from me for today, now enjoy the night, I’m leaving,” he says. “Oh, I’ll make you a feast of colors before I go, I won’t leave quietly,” he says. You line up to watch me, you choose the most beautiful place, you take my photos, you wait for me to come again even if it is tomorrow, you come to see me wherever I am, you hurt me unconsciously but you are still grateful for my existence. This is Hawaii, Maui, Kaanapali… This unique view of the bottom of the Pacific in front of our room, this terrace in our own garden is too perfect to be real! Like a dream… A romantic dinner in LAHAINA This is what island life is like. It lands early in the evening. The day ends early and starts early. After watching the sunset, we get in our car and go to the city closest to Kaanapali for dinner. Lahaina… This is a touristic city as we know. Shops, restaurants, cafes… We found a very nice restaurant. Overlooking the sea, accompanied by the sounds of the waves… There is also live music. You know Hawaiian music. A soft music that numbs the mind and plays as if the melody never changes… As soon as you hear this music, you instantly relax. Especially if you are eating dinner and drinking wine with your loved one at the bottom of the ocean and hearing the sound of deep waves coming from behind… To take in this beautiful environment, we have the famous cocktail of those places, MAI TAI, before the meal and here we are in Hawaii. Let me inhale more, don’t let it come out… After dinner, we wander around Lahaina in love and passion. Of course, there are also worldly matters… We end up in a big supermarket. We do a huge amount of shopping, fill our fridge, and head back to our house in Mahana. Today is our first day in Maui… There is such a state of drunkenness, sourness, ecstasy… I can already feel it. It will be very difficult to leave here! On our second day in Maui, I wake up early at 7:30 in order not to miss the day. I woke up like a bomb and threw myself on the beach. I ran, I ran, I ran, I swam back… I wish I could do this every day. Starting the day by running and swimming in nature… Even the dream of it increases my life energy. Some sands are easy to walk on, some are difficult to walk on, but this is the kind of sand where walking is difficult. Naturally, this half-hour run, or so to speak, the fight against the sand, tires the man a lot. First, fruit on an empty stomach, then breakfast with my girlfriend… After digesting our breakfast, we head to the beach together. “Swim where I can see you. Don’t stay out of my line of sight. Don’t go too far. Play around here.” I think I’m exaggerating this shark thing too much. You know what mothers tell their children, “Don’t go too far, play in front of me.” Here is the same account as mine. I say things like that to my girlfriend all the time. Because it is a water bird, it should not get out of the water, and if there is an island in front of it, it should calculate and imagine whether it can swim to it. It is. Therefore, I am a source of anxiety… I warn him, “Swim where I can see you.” I say, “Don’t get out of my line of sight, don’t scare me, there are sharks, please don’t be too wide.” He swims, I turn on the radars. Then I look, it is nowhere to be seen and in front of me, as far as my eyes can see, is an empty ocean… Wow, I feel distressed. I’m starting to picture it in my mind… A shark definitely grabbed this from his leg, took it far away and eats it there. Otherwise, he won’t be out of breath for all this time, where is he? Panic, panic, I start to cry, I look around blankly… What will I do? Then I see that he is coming slowly from the side, from the beach. I feel relieved. Oh well, at least. Well, I still draw my brush. By the way, I think I scared my boyfriend too much with this shark obsession. What I said to your ear has become an earring. He couldn’t go that far. At one point, he saw something like a snake in the sea and came out immediately. She was walking from there… We explored the island this afternoon… We bought shorts, bikinis, pareos and flip-flops that suit Hawaii. Time to Explore Maui The southernmost part of Maui; La Perouse Bay. This bay is different from others. There is no beach here, and it is not possible to swim in the sea. There are scary rocks formed as a result of volcanic movements. The island shows climate differences even within itself. La Perouse, for example, is very windy and cold. Maui’s most magnificent and beautiful coastal cities are undoubtedly; Between Kihei and Wailea. The inside of Maui is a sphere with an empty center. Life has shifted to the edges. In fact, life is built only by the sea. There is nothing growing or developing towards the middle. There is just a huge gap… Kihei, Wailea, Lahaina are nice holiday resorts that we know very well. Like Kuşadası, Çeşme, Bodrum… There are magnificent bays and beaches in between… You can take a sea and sun break anywhere, and after spending a few hours, head to another bay. Everyone is already doing that. In fact, it seems like this is the purpose. Not spending the whole day in the same bay, this circulation, this movement, is good… The most famous bays are MAKENA BAY and BIG BEACH Big Beach, Maui’s South Beach. Big Beach, as its name suggests, is Maui’s largest beach. All the bays in Maui are small, indented bays like this. Although Big Beach is not as big as South Beach or Waikiki, it is a large bay with plenty of sand and a wide beach. Not many people come and go.
