Waikiki Beach We will stay here for 3 days only, to see the world-famous Waikiki Beach and to breathe the general atmosphere of O’hau Island… There is Waimea Bay on the northern coast of O’hau Island. Its beauty is legendary, but we won’t be able to go this time. Around Honolulu, we will go to whichever bay Twu, who accompanies us, takes us to. We will come again for Waimea Bay. Life is long… The general feature of the bays on O’hau Island is surfing due to the huge size of the waves. You can’t swim here anyway, so it’s not possible. These waves will swallow the man and finish him off. We found a bay by car, a place with 15 meter waves. There my girlfriend learned how to body board. So I hung out by myself on the shore. Because he capsized so much in those waves that he could not rise to the surface, his waist was crooked and his back hit the ground. These are killer waves, they are brutal. I was heartbroken when I saw the people doing it, but anyway, I don’t want to be sent home because I broke my back in the middle of our world tour… Then we walk down Koholulu Boulevard and head to Waikiki Beach. Waikiki Beach is a long, beautiful beach with fine sand. The main beauty of the beach is undoubtedly the palm trees that line it left and right. Palm trees all over the city… Like Izmir, like Nice… Palm trees suit such seaside cities very well, they add more beauty and elegance. So is Waikiki… It’s not for swimming. Everyone has a body board in their hands, no one is swimming in the sea, everyone is standing in front like a lame, waiting for the wave. A wave will come and they will catch the wave, get on top of it and go to the shore… Those who wait until the evening like this, those who cannot meet a wave… The board team that the sharks think is a “seal” On the last day, a desire and courage comes to me. I grab the body board that I rented for a day and wait for a wave that will carry me and even blow me away. I am waiting. I am cold. On the other hand, I’m afraid. By the way, I realized that although I look like a lion on land, I am a bit of a coward at sea. Especially in these ocean waters where I know there are sharks… Because as I learned, sharks mostly attack people who do these body boards. Because he perceived these people, whose bodies were leaning on the board, standing on the water, and only their legs were moving, as seals. That’s why he was attacking. Indeed, when viewed from the beach in general, everyone has a seal-like atmosphere. Honestly, the sharks are right. Now I too have joined that caravan. I want to give myself a different look than a seal. It isn’t happening. I’m a seal and there’s no escape. Now there is a shark that will sneak up on me and catch my leg… Wow, how did I get involved in this, I wish I could go and sunbathe on the beach. Well, it doesn’t work like that, but am I going to look up now and chase the waves, or am I going to look down every now and then to see if there are any sharks, and miss the waves one by one? Forget the shark, girl. Look, you are not the one swimming in the openest area, whose legs should these sharks eat first before they come to you… No, no, they will definitely find me. While I’m busy calculating whether someone will come here who will attack me first, I suddenly realize that my lover is shouting at me from afar: “This wave is yours, turn around quickly, try to accelerate with all your might, quickly…” I suddenly get dizzy and do as he says without thinking.
